How I Can Help You Buy a Home

Whether it’s your first home or if you’re an experienced buyer, purchasing a home can be a complex and stressful process, but it doesn't need to be! By working with me, you’ll find a home in the area/neighborhood where you want to live, that fits your budget, and meets your 'must haves' for features, quality and value. Once you’ve found the home that’s right for you, I will guide you through the process of making an offer; negotiating terms of the sale, and getting the home inspected, repaired and appraised so it's smooth sailing to closing!

When you work with me, you will:

  • Be more likely to find the home: One that meets all your criteria.  With access to MLS and a whole database of listings, creating a customized search so you (and I) will be notified immediately of any home that hits the market within your search criteria and parameter.
  • Lessen the amount of time it will take to find your home: As a Northern Virginia native, I am experienced and extremely knowledgeable about the area and neighborhoods within it.  Based on your wants/needs I can help find the perfect area to accommodate you.
  • Understand the process: I'll be sure you are always kept in the loop and understand all the terminology, documents and processes.
  • Have up-to-date market information: I constantly keep an eye on the ever-changing market helping to ensure you make an informed decision.

How I Can Help You Sell a Home

Helping find a buyer for your home is only one facet of my job as your Realtor. As your Realtor I am committed to:

  • Determining your home's value: Conducting an extensive Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) to help determine your home's value and list price.
  • List of reputable vendors/contractors: Connecting you and helping schedule contractors, handymen, electricians, painters, cleaners, storage and donations/junk removal.
  • Streamline paperwork: Compile and organize all necessary paperwork in a secure portal for easy distribution and signatures.
  • Marketing your property: On MLS for thousands of Agents to see, as well as various other Real Estate sites such as: Zillow, Homes.Com, Marketing materials; direct mailers, social media, brochures.
  • Staging: We will help you go from room to room to ensure each is looking and presenting its best! That doesn't mean a lot of work (or money)! A clean and organized home photographs best!
  • Professional Photography: Hire a professional home photographer and ensure the best photos are taken.  I'll be there to make sure all lights are on, windows are open and natural light is flowing!
  • Lockbox and Signage: HOA permitting, we will get a lockbox and 'for sale' sign installed. The lockbox will keep a log (that I can see) of who enters and exits the home at any given moment with Sentrilock.
  • Showings: Best to have your home as open to showings as possible. I will help streamline the process by having showing requests which will be confirmed by you.
  • Open Houses: An open house(s) will be schedule for the first weekend the home hits the market. This will be advertised on social media, MLS and all various real estate apps/sites.
  • Negotiations: I pride myself in my negotiation skills. I'll ensure all offers are presented in a timely manner and negotiate terms per your request.
  • Ensure deadlines are met: Documents are signed and counter-signed, HOA docs are in hand, contingencies are removed (if needed). In other words, I make sure the buying Agent is on top of things, too.
  • Closing: Make sure dates and details carry through to closing!
